Getting Any ? (1995)

Even he has been praised as great comedian and very expert in amusing genre, he produced just one comedy, Getting Any ?. Moreover it is only one of his film that got much negative criticism and large failure.

Generally noted that the weak point of this story is it's so "light" that his fans cannot satisfy. Moreover, they recognize this film as nonsense. However, looking fairly, Kitano already declared that he wanted Getting Any ? to be a nonsense and no format comedy including something people known as "bad taste" jokes. After all, his movie extremely reaches his purpose.

The Story is about a man who had watched dirty movies, then got great inspiration and deadly needed having sex affair with women so he did anything for that. Unfortunately, he had to face many incidents overestimated.

The quality of Getting Any ? may be doubted as very good or very bad depends on individual opinion. However, one thing that nobody doubts about this movie is amusing and fun.

แม้จะได้ชื่อว่าเป็นสุดยอดนักแสดงตลก และเป็นผู้เชี่ยวชาญทางด้านอารมณ์ขัน ทว่าเอาเข้าจริงทาเกชิ คิทาโนกลับทำหนังที่เข้าข่าย "หนังตลก" อย่างแท้จริงเพียงแค่เรื่องเดียว นั่นคือ Getting Any ? มิหนำซ้ำยังเป็นหนังเรื่องเดียวของเขาที่ได้รับคำวิจารณ์ติดลบ และประสบความล้มเหลวรุนแรงมากที่สุด

ว่ากันว่า เหตุผลสำคัญที่ทำให้ Getting Any ? ล้มเหลวอย่างยับเยินไม่เป็นท่า ก็เนื่องมาจากมันเป็นงานที่ "เบา" จนกระทั่งแฟน ๆ ที่เคยชื่นชมผลงานก่อนหน้านี้ของคิทาโน รู้สึกผิดคาดและผิดหวัง รวมทั้งเห็นว่า "ไร้สาระ"

อย่างไรก็ตาม มองด้วยความเป็นธรรม คิทาโนแสดงเจตนาเด่นชัดว่าเขาต้องการให้ Getting Any ? เป็นหนังตลกหลุดโลก เพี้ยน ไร้สาระ (รวมทั้งเน้นอารมณ์ขันมุขตลกที่ดูเหมือนจะจงใจให้ "รสนิยมต่ำ") ซึ่งโดยตัวงานที่ปรากฎถือได้ว่า บ้าบอคอแตกได้อย่างถึงพร้อมสุดขีด

หนังเป็นเรื่องของไอ้หนุ่มคนหนึ่ง ซึ่งได้แรงบันดาลใจจากการดูหนังโป๊ จนทำให้เกิดความปรารถนาอยากมีเซ็กส์กับสาว ๆ จึงตัดสินใจทำทุกวิถีทางเพื่อให้ตนเองบรรลุผล แต่แล้วเรื่องราวเหตุการณ์ก็เลยเถิดเกินขีดขั้น "ออกทะเล" ไปไกลมาก

คุณภาพของ Getting Any ? อาจจะอยู่ในเกณฑ์ก้ำกึ่งคาบลูกคาบดอก และอาจมีคนดูชื่นชอบ-เกลียดชังฝ่ายละเท่า ๆ กัน แต่สิ่งหนึ่งซึ่งไม่มีใครกังขาก็คือ Getting Any ? เป็นหนังที่ "ตลก" และ "ดูสนุก"
